About the Author
R.R. Scott is a Canadian writer and licensed private investigator with a lifetime of experience in the former and 20 years of experience in the latter. An avid reader, he has a fondness for classic English and Russian literature and 20th Century spy and detective fiction. His other hobbies include studying and participating in cold case and missing person investigations, as well as sciences such as astronomy, chemistry, and geology. When not reading and writing, he enjoys swimming and snorkelling, downhill skiing, and globe-trotting to any destination that offers great adventures and good food (and drink).
In 2017, he up-rooted from city life in greater Toronto and moved north. He now lives on the shores of Georgian Bay near the Blue Mountains, where he hides away in his book-lined cabin, often with a pen-in-hand or a book-on-lap. When his eye is not on the printed page it can often be found peering through a telescope at some vast celestial object, or through a microscope at some infinitesimally small one. Aside from stacks of books and stationery, Scott also keeps honeybees, dogs, and chickens, and is, in turn, kept by his wife and two sons.
